Dog Training Classes and Behavioral Services:

We offer both group and private instruction. Our group classes are limited to 6 students to provide individual attention, as well as socialization and distraction training.

For those who desire even more individualized attention, private lessons are available. 

Why is Training Important? 

Training your dog is the best thing you can do for yourself and your dog. A well trained dog is welcome in many social situations, such as family vacations, kids soccer games, cookouts, etc. 

A trained dog is also fun to have in the house! Training builds a bond with your dog, one of trust, and understanding, it allows you to have a better relationship with your dog, one that will last a lifetime! 

Dogs are social animals just like us, and they need to be part of the family, training allows them to share in our family lives and activities. Training isn't just about tricks, and obedience exercises, its really about learning to communicate with your dog, so you can have a family pet that is truly, a joy to own!

NEW - Take and Train – Day Trip Training Program ©:

With this program, I will pick up your dog, work with them during the day, on obedience, socialization, problem behaviors, etc. What ever you want or need. Programs can be by the day, week or month. For more information please feel free to contact me!​

IN-HOME PRIVATE LESSONS:

We also offer individual lessons for basic obedience, problem solving and/or behavior modification. Individual sessions offer one-on-one individual attention, plus flexible scheduling. Contact us for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Super Puppy!™ / Super Dog!™ Obedience, Manners, & More:

A 6-week course designed for all puppies and dogs from 10 weeks of age and up. Behavior problems, such as jumping and nipping are covered. Obedience exercises taught include; down, sit, come, loose leash walking, stay, all on-leash, and come when called both on and off-leash! An excellent course for your new puppy, new rescue dog and the family pet! 

Exceptional Family Dog!™ / Intermediate Obedience:

An 8-week course that builds on the skills learned in Beginner. The exercises learned in Beginner are now taught off leash, and attention / distraction training is emphasized. This course will prepare you for our Advanced class, or provide your family pet with an exceptional level of training. You can amaze your friends! 

Super Savvy Family Dog!™ / Advanced Obedience:

An 8-week course that incorporates all of the training exercises into the "real world". The focus in this class is real obedience for the real world. This class is held at our locations, and out in the "real world". The class will go on "field trips" to work in new areas. An advanced level of training, and reliability for the family pet.

NEW! Foundations Thru Fantastic!™: This new, fun, exciting, and very functional course is for those who want to work on the very important, real life exercises that keep you dog safe as well as make life with your dog more fun and enjoyable as well! We will work on a bomb-proof Recall, Loose Leash Walking as well as formal/functional Heeling. We will also teach Rear End Awareness that will help your dog to know where their back end is and how to use it when training. Plus: Tell me what other exercises are important to you and your dog, and we will incorporate them into the curriculum of this class! 

NEW! Agile-Pup!™: This 8-week course will include teaching fun, exciting, engaging, even useful games, jumps, obstacles, teeter boards, and more! Utilizing agility equipment and other props and obstacles to engage and challenge you and your dog to have fun, become more self-confident, and build trust and teamwork! This course is a lot of fun, and it also strengthens your communication and relationship with your dog! Come and join the fun! 

AKC - Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program:

The American Kennel Club's (AKC) Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Program is a combination of a solid foundation of training with proper social skills and manners for your dog. The program is designed to give you the opportunity to train and prepare your dog, and at he end of the course to participate in the CGC test to show that your dog has the proper training, temperament, and good social skills to be a true Canine Good Citizen! This course is a 5-week course, with the test as the 5th class.

Rally-Obedience Classes!

Offering all levels of Rally-O from Novice to Masters! Come and learn the fun and exciting sport of Rally-O! Whether you wish to train and earn titles, or you simply want a fun exciting way to continue to work with you dog… this class is for you!

Trick Dog Class – All Levels: This 8-week course will include 7 weeks of teaching fun and even useful tricks to your dog, and on the 8thweek, you and your dog will show us what you have learned and earn your Trick Dog Title! This course is a lot of fun but also strengthens the communication and bond with your dog! Come and join the fun!  

Scent-tastic!™ Scent/Nose Work-1 This 6-week course teaches your dog to detect, find and indicate specific odors. The sport of Scent work is fun and builds communication and teamwork! With this course you could train to obtain Scent Work titles, or as a fun and exciting activity for you and your dog! 

DROP-IN CLASSES

We are now offering drop-in classes! These classes are for graduates of our classes, or individual sessions. In this class, we will address what you, the student, wants to work on! Classes are week to week, no commitment to a certain number of sessions. Come every week, twice a month, monthly, when you chose... and as often as you wish!
